What is the Online Ruler?

Need to measure something small but have no ruler? This on-screen ruler shows centimetres, millimetres and inches at real size. Because every screen has a different pixel density, calibrate it once by matching a standard bank / ID card (85.6 mm wide) – after that, measurements are accurate to about a millimetre.

Your calibration is saved for next time on the same device.

How to use the Online Ruler

  1. Press Calibrate and place a bank card, CNIC or ID card on the screen against the outline.
  2. Move the slider until the outline matches the card width exactly, then press Save.
  3. Place the object on the ruler to measure it. Use full screen for longer objects.
