What is the Online Protractor?
A full 0–180° (and 360°) protractor on your screen. Drag the arm to any position to read the angle in degrees and radians. You can also upload a photo – of a roof, a ramp, a posture picture or a geometry worksheet – and measure the angle between two lines directly on the image.
How to use the Online Protractor
- Drag the blue arm (or type an angle) to set the angle.
- To measure a photo, press Measure angle in a photo, then tap three points: end of line 1, the corner, end of line 2.
- Read the angle below.
Angle types
- Acute: less than 90°
- Right: exactly 90°
- Obtuse: between 90° and 180°
- Reflex: more than 180°
