What is the Image Compare?

Check what changed between two versions of a design, screenshot or photo. Load image A and image B: the tool scales B to A’s size, highlights every pixel that differs beyond your tolerance in red, and reports the percentage of changed pixels. Switch to Overlay and drag the slider to wipe between them.

How to use the Image Compare

  1. Load image A and image B.
  2. Adjust tolerance to ignore tiny compression differences.
  3. View Difference, Side by side or Overlay.

Tip

For screenshots use tolerance 0–10; for JPEG photos 20–40 to ignore compression noise.
