What is the Attendance Calculator?
Most schools and universities require a minimum attendance – often 75% – to sit exams. This calculator shows your current attendance percentage, and tells you either how many classes you can still miss safely or how many classes you must attend in a row to reach the requirement.
How to use the Attendance Calculator
- Enter classes attended and total classes held so far.
- Enter the required percentage (75% by default).
- Read your status.
Formulas
Attendance = attended ÷ total × 100. Classes needed = ⌈(required × total − attended) ÷ (1 − required)⌉. Classes you can miss = ⌊attended ÷ required − total⌋.
