What is the DNS Lookup?
See the DNS records of any domain instantly: A and AAAA (IP addresses), CNAME (aliases), MX (mail servers), TXT (SPF, DKIM, Google/Microsoft verification), NS (nameservers), SOA and CAA. Results come from public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (Google and Cloudflare) so you can compare them after changing DNS.
It is the quickest way to check if a new website is pointing to the right server, whether email records are set, or if DNS changes have propagated.
How to use the DNS Lookup
- Enter a domain (e.g. example.com).
- Choose a record type or “All common records”.
- Press Lookup. Switch the resolver to compare results.
Email authentication checks
- SPF: a TXT record starting with v=spf1 on your domain.
- DMARC: a TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com starting with v=DMARC1.
- DKIM: a TXT record at selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com.
Tip
DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours to update everywhere, depending on the TTL.
This DNS Lookup is 100% free, needs no signup and runs privately in your browser – on phone, tablet or computer.
